Online Search > Google Books not working

For the last hour or so, Online Search > Search Google Books has not been working.

But Google Books itself is still online and working. Did Google Books just change their API?

I’m using Bookends 14.2.4 on macOS 12.6.5.

When a site that was working suddenly stops supplying data it is usually because of a problem with their servers. The status of the web site is irrelevant in cases like Google Bookends because Bookends is using their API not scraping their web pages. I just tried a Google Books search and, at least for the moment, it's working again.
