ORCID not recognized

Hi Jon,

I have an orcid ID: 0009-0008-2347-7844
If I add it I get this error message:
"This ORCID ID does not exist, isn't in the OpenAlex database, or has no public content."
But I cannot find the problem, because on orcid.org the ID ist working.

What's wrong here?

Having a valid ORCID is the first requirement but not the last. It also has to be recognized by OpenAlex, which I understand doesn't plumb ORCID.org but uses CrossRef (and perhaps other sources). Crossref doesn't recognize that ORCID ID, either. You can see that for yourself here https://www.crossref.org.
