Refresh or update BibTeX citekey

Is there a way (or script) to refresh or update BibTeX citekeys for a library or selection of records? This would be similar to the "refresh BibTeX key" option provided the Better BibTeX Zotero plugin. This becomes important when you have duplicate records that are eventulally deleted or when you delete records you no longer need.

Yes. Select the references you want to refresh and use Refs -> Generate Citekey (Shift-Command K).
