The app won't open after the last update

Hi!

After updating to the latest version, the application won't open. A window pops up saying that it can't be opened. Could something have broken with the update, or is it something to do with my computer? Up until this morning, it was working perfectly with the previous version. (I have a MacBook Pro from late 2020 (Intel) and MacOS 14.6.1.). I've restarted the computer, reinstalled the app, and it's still the same. The only thing left for me to do is uninstall and reinstall from scratch, but I don't know if there's anything else I can do.

We've had a few other reports of this issue. Until we can resolve it, we're pulling this update and reverting to 15.0.9.

But anyone who already has 15.1 and is seeing this problem, if you have a crash log please send it to

support@sonnysoftware.com

Sorry, Jon, but I don't have the log (it was sent to Apple and disappeared...) and I've come back to 15.0.9 (and now it works). Anyway, no problem at all! If I had the same problem in the future, I will copy and send the log to you. Thanks!

The problem has been fixed. I'm waiting for feedback from a few users who reported the same thing and when we're sure it works for them we will upload 15.1 to our servers again. I'll post here when that happens.

would it make sense that silent but critical bug-fixing updates are also announced when starting the bookends app (as it is the case for regular updates)?
