Editing at once multiple ref

Is it possible to edit at once several refs on the field Type ?

I have hundreds of refs with the wrong type (currently Journal Article) and I would like to change their type from the current one to the new one

For anyone reading this who has the same question, I suspect the solution that bkantique found was Refs -> Global Change -> Change Reference Type.

You're right Jon just haven't take the time to look at the menus

BTW I have the similar question is it possible to apply a label to a selection of refs ... this time I look at the menus including global change but Label is not proposed ?

Select the references you want to modify and use right-click -> Color Label.
