Hi!
I was wondering if I can use my universities proxy with Bookends?!?! Normally, I have to login with my username and password, but I did not find the option for that in Bookends' Internet preferences?
thanks,

Use the university proxy via System Preferences
I have the same problem. I manually activate and deactivate the proxy in System Preferences.
Open System Preferences,
Select Network > Configure > Proxies
Check "Web Proxy"
Fill out the information, including authentication
Apply Now
Now leave the Network pane open, and start using Bookends. When you are done, uncheck "Web Proxy" and hit Apply Now. Now, any time you work with Bookends, you can check "Web Proxy" and it will re-enable the username / password /etc. Not graceful or simple, but easy.
