Does anyone have any experience of using cb2Bib?

Thanks
cb2Bib
cb2Bib is a tool for quickly extracting data from very messy bibliographic references.
BHA for example produces citations like this:
Recuperating revolt : Aaron Spangler, Paul Chan, and Catherine Sullivan
KERR,-Merrily
Flash-art-International. 2004, v. 37, no. 236, May-June, p. 106-109; 8 ill. (2 col.)
(with field labels:
TI: Dem Auge die Uniform ausziehen
AU: GUNDLACH,-F-C
SO: Art-Hamburg. 2002, no. 2, Feb, p. 42-45; 6 ill. (3 col.)
CP: Germany
PY: 2002)
I don't think there's a way to write an import filter to manage data like this. Potentially cb2Bib could solve the problem but the app seems quite pesky and data import very erratic.
Is there another way of parsing refs like the ones from BHA, that's quicker than copy/paste?
Thanks
