When I do a search in list view for (say) 'planning', BE turns up a list of hits - still in list view. In fact the list is truncated to show only the hits. If I then double-click on one of them to get full details, it is not listed as a hit in the hit number box in the top left. All are listed as 0 of 0.

Is this just me missing something obvious? Or is it something I've simply not noticed before?

I'm not sure exactly what you are seeing, but it certainly doesn't sound right. It may be a corrupted index. Rebuild your database. If it persists, please zip and send me the database (with instructions), and I'll take a look.
