Hi all.

I've just uploaded Bookends 9.0.7 beta 3. Lots of bug fixes, and many small improvements requested by our users. If you're testing the betas, you will want this version. Read the Read Me to see what's new.

See the Announcements forum for the download link.

Hi Jon,

The Read Me file does not seem to have installation instructions and caveats like previous releases. So, should one just move the contents of the 9.07 folder over to the Bookends Folder in Applications (or wherever one has it)?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Because it's a beta, I wouldn't get rid of 9.0.6 just yet. Once it's released, you can do that. But I would point out that at this point you really shouldn't have anything in the old Bookends Folder that you can't get rid of and replace with the new one when it's ready (i.e. no need to copy files from one to the other). All user-modified files should be in their own safe place, for example ~/Library/Application Support/Bookends/Custom..., etc.

9.07

Right. I've been doing that as recommended in the last few updates. I've created a duplicate of my current main database for use in 9.07. We'll see what we get.
