Suggestion for Sidebar - number of refs next to folders

One of my friends uses Bibdesk. Like Bookends, Bibdesk has a well-balanced, intuitive interface. Bibdesk, however, adds a feature not supported in Bookends (that is, to the best of my knowledge). In Bibdesk the number of references each group -- static or smart -- contains is listed next to the folder name. You can see a screenshot of the interface at http://bibdesk.sourceforge.net/screenshots.html. Anyway, my question is whether such a feature could be implemented in Bookends?

Hi, I must have missed this post. Then answer is that it would be rather difficult to implement. You can, you know, see how many items you have in a group simply by clicking on the group (the number appears in the lower right-hand corner of the window).
