Super- and subscripts

In the prefs ^ and | are set for super- and subscript.

In the formatted view as well as when I use Bookend's bibliography formatter I see the carets. But when scanning the document from within Mellel, nothing is superscripted.

I'm using Mellel 2.1.1 and BE 9.0.7

I'm using the same, and I get the superscripted text in Mellel. Maybe it's one of those famous settings in Mellel that's preventing the superscript from showing up. Try editing the bibliography preferences in Mellel.

thanks, yes of course: that's the problem I have set there to use Mellel's styles which are changing the superscripted text to normal one.

Mellel should be able to handle supercripted text as such while you are attaching your styles. I will request this feature in the Mellel forum.
