LOC call numbers

Post by danzac »

Unless I accidentally erased something in the filter, the LOC import filter does not put any info into the call num field (i.e. the LOC #). But I looked on the website for the LOC and in the MARC tags the call number is assigned to 050 00 |a (whatever this means). I don't know what that corresponds to because in the import filter the numbers are 440v (for example).

Is there a way to get the import filter to insert the LOC call # into the call num field?

Sure, it's easy. Just put

050a

before the Call Number field in the filter. I'll add this to the filter for the next update, too.
