How i can create an attach without take back the organization of my files? I see that de database don't create an alias...

I don't understand the question.

When you create an attachment you have the option to leave it where it is, have Bookends move it to the default attachment folder (or a subfolder), or have Bookends copy it to the default attachment folder (or a subfolder).

Yes, but when i leave where it is, the program says that he can open the file attach. He only open the file when i allow it to create a folder for the attachments...

Try removing Bookends 9 Preferences and relaunching. Please follow up tech support issues directly, to

Yes, i have tried that, but thereafter the problem returns...

Before trashing the preferences file I also rebuilded the database.
