Navigation in the main window

Post by danzac »

I was in the main window and looking and trying to remember what the shortcut keys for navigating back and forth in the references and the hit lists. in the menu it has shortcut keys connected to numbers. Then I thought how much better it would be if the shorcut keys just used the arrows.

Then I absent-mindedly hit command>control>arrows and it did navigate! This is much better. BUT it only works when you are outside of a field.

Can it be made to work even when you are in a field? It is a much more common-sense shortcut for moving between citations, and it will free up some numbers for other shortcut keys.

No need for the Command-Control. The arrow keys will navigate when you are outside an editfield (otherwise they move in the editfield, of course).

The menu navigations has other features the arrows don't, like first, last, and go to...
