I have a reproducible problem with scanning Word documents from within Word. It appears that if my document has a table which I have formatted so that it lacks borders around some or all of the cells, and then scan the document from within Word, Bookends puts the borders back around every cell of the table.
This does not happen when scanning the same Word file directly within Bookends (just thought to test this).
Because of the nature of the document I'm writing at the moment, this is a real annoyance. Anything I am missing, or any obvious fix?
Thanks!

Hi,
There are several bugs in Word that interfere with a round-trip of some information when scanning from within Word (like track changes). It sounds like this is one of them (since it works if you scan from Bookends itself). Until these bugs are (hopefully) fixed in the next version of Word, the only solution is to leave the borders as they are until after your final scan, then adjust them the way you want and submit the paper.
