Support for url-rewrite proxy

Hi all!

My library uses a cheap excuse for a proxy which does som simple url-rewriting as in:

www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov.proxy.kib.ki.se/sites/entrez?tool=karolinska&otool=karolib

Notice the proxy.kib.ki.se. This means that i can't use the automatic pdf fetching feature from home which is a drag. I believe this would be an easy feature to implement, though I'm not a developer.

Hi,

Are you sure you can't do this via the system preferences proxy server configuration? If not, can you use a VPN to access the libraries using the university's ip address?

I've been trying every mode possible for this, and no, I don't have any access to a VPN account. Any solution, perhaps third part?
