citations will not verify??

Hello,

I running Mellel 2.2.7.1 (latest) and BE 10.1.2 (latest) and keep hitting the wall:

When I "Verify Citations" in Mellel, they will not verify. I keep getting unrecognized citations.

I've tried:
1) rebuilding the database
2) re-entering the problem citations in BE
3) re-copying the problem citations to Mellel

And, yes, identifier has a unique name in the Mellel citation.

No luck.

Suggestions?

I don't know. What do you mean by they won't verify? What happens?

P.S. This really sounds like a tech support issue, not something for the forum.

I found a solution: I deleted the items in the database that would not verify (see the Mellel menu; 'verify' is one of the choices under bibliography). I re-entered and it now works as expected.
