smart groups request

Can I request that one of the criteria (right under the label option) is a static group option? In other words, I would like to use a smart group to help me in organizing and viewing items in a static group. This would help me for better organization in the groups pane.

You know you can do this now with virtual groups, right? Click on both the smart group and the static group(s) you want, and the references in common will appear (if AND virtual groups) or references in either will appear (if OR virtual groups).

ya I know, it just doesn't seem as handy to me as knowing that I can create smart groups based on one collection. It helps for hierachically organizing. Plus, for navigating (tabbing and arrowing through my list window) creating a virtual group becomes an extra chore.
