language of inserted date for adding URL

Post by Gerben »

I notice that when I add a website (from a random URL) to the db, the access date that BE inserts corresponds to the system language setting. In my case that language is Dutch. However, I am writing my PhD in English and so I need this date to use the English words for the months. Is there a way to accomplish this without manual correction in the db or manuscript?

Best,

Hi,

Bookends uses the system date and time settings to generate the date. If you want them in English you can change the date and time preferences to that.

Ah, thanks. I did not realise I could set the language for date and time separately (without changing the entire system language).
