How big is your database?

Post by brianogilvie »

I've started this poll because I'm curious to find out how large other users' Bookends databases are. I have about 2,900 entries in mine. I was corresponding last night with Jon over a database corruption issue, and he mentioned that my database was large. I was wondering if that's in comparison with other users, or in absolute terms. I do have about fourteen years' worth of references in the DB.

I'm just starting to accumulate references, I've got about 150, adding about 10 a week so far from new periodicals.

How large

Hi Brian, my DB is of 6233 references, sometime with huge abstracts inserted. I never experimented serious corruptions, but, obviously, I frequently backup my DB. The Internal cache is set to 20 Mb
