If I understand the manual correctly it is possible to generate a bibliography with hanging indents only after doing a scan.
I wonder if there would be a way to combine this with the creation of a subject bibliography?
I need to separate between books, articles. etc. in my thesis bibliography and I would like to format it with hanging indents.
Right now that means doing a scan and then manually separating the output and make the subject bibliography (if one wishes to preserve the indent generated after the scan). Any workaround here?
Thanks,
Gerben

Re: hanging indent in subject bibliography
Check the hanging indent box in the format you are using. If you send the Subject Bibliography to the bibliography window and copy/paste it into your word processor, the hanging indent is there. If you generate the Subject Bibliography during a scan, it's there, too, but you must select the references and manually adjust the left margin in your word processor to see it.

Re: hanging indent in subject bibliography
I looked into this some more, and the hanging indent on scanning works with Mellel and Pages, not Word. The workaround I mentioned (set the left margin for the bibliography after the scan) provides a quick solution, but I'll work on a better one.

Thanks a million, this is already great!
I didn't realize the trick with the margin, using Mellel and works fine.
