Unique identifier as a reference field?

Post by AsafKeller »

Is it possible to assign the unique identifier as a field? This would be useful, for example, when exporting references to a DevonThink sheet, so that the hypertext link is included.

You can include the unique id in any format you create (use the @ symbol). Is that what you're after?

Perfect, thanks. (The first mention of this in the manual is down in the Server chapter.)

Actually, I think it's first mentioned in the section on Formats and Bibliographies (Special Characters subheading) on p. 128.
