Arabic / Farsi

Post by mkhabbaz »

hi all,
just wondering if anybody could type Arabic or Farsi in Notes fields. I tried typing in Arabic but the letters are not connected. Anyone has an answer to this ?

best,

Hi,

I'm guessing here, but that may be font-dependent. Others can no doubt be more helpful.

thanks Jon,
I tried couple of fonts but still does not work. (when I enter the text)
but, I tried copying and pasting from textEdit and it works. right after i paste the text, I can edit it with no problem. Even when that happens the text on the right panel does not display correctly.

I don't know if it explains anything, but the font used in the list is different from the one used in the concise view (the concise view uses the default reference font). You can set them to be the same in preferences and see. I suggest that if any further followup is necessary you contact us directly for support.
