Formatting Journal (Publication Name) in Bibliography

Post by TheGoodOak »

I can't find a way to edit the journal publication name under the Formats Manager. For some reason lots of journals are imported from WOS in all caps, which then appear as such in my bibliographies. Is there a way to control this field in the same way that Author and Title can be?

Thanks

Hi,

There are two ways.

One would be to make sure these names are in the journal glossary you are using (in the correct form, not all caps). If you're not using a journal glossary, this would be a good reason to do so.

The second would be to do a Global Change -> Change Case on the journal field in the database.
