Hello!
I'm working with Bookends 8 and just started writing my PhD. I would like to know how I can change the order of references at the end of my paper. I want it to be in alphabetic sequence. Within the text, the reference should be displayed like this: "blablabla (Brown JH et al. 1998)." At the moment though, when I scan my text for references, Bookends places the first reference I make also on the first position on the list of sources.
Thanks for your help!

Edit: I forgot to say, I use MS Word 2004 (Mac) as word processor.

Hi,
If I understand correctly, the bibliography is not being sorted. If that's the case, you should either change to a format that does this for you (e.g. APA 5th), or open the format you want and check the "Alphabetize references" box in the second tab (Bib & Citation Options).
