'AND' in multiple authors

When I use multiple authors in a book reference, I have a choice of formatting the authors (small cpas, etc.), but not the "and" in between them. I sthat right? It is automatically formatted like the authors (in my case, caps). Is there a way to change it?

I believe not. Bookends applies the same rules to the text placed between authors as for the authors themselves.
