considerable amount of unmatched citations while scanning

Post by proteus »

Hello,
I have a really high number of "Unmatched citations" while scanning from a Mellel document - no matter who much I repair or rescan the database in Bookends (am using latest version of both Bookends and Mellel), I get a lot of unmatched citation errors and a lot of manual selection of the right citation in Bookends while scanning, most of which repetitive of a given citation. Any help is much appreciated!

Hi,

It sounds like you have set the citation separator to comma (in Bookends preferences). That should only be used with BibTeX. If that is the problem, set it back to semicolon.
