label sorted lists?

Post by Reiner »

Hi there,

I think it is possible but I can't find how I can manage it to sort my list view by the color labels. Any help is appreciated.

You can't sort by label. But you can create smart groups that find references by label.

:( I can't sort by labels?

Then I would like to suggest this as a new feature. Maybe the most easiest way would be to add an Option "Labels" in Preferences > Lists > Fields to display?

Of course I could use smart groups for that too, but that's not the best solution for what I want to do.

That wouldn't be a good option (labels are already indicated by color, so this would be redundant). It's possible that it could be offered as an option in the Action popup or a right-click contextual menu.
