Copy Formatted Not Working

I also want to use formatted citation on Mellel. Before I do, however, I want to know if formatted citations are updated accordingly with ibid etc... just like coded citations are in live bibliography or when docs are scanned. I am now using formatted citations in Scrivener, but intend to export to Mellel for final formatting.

Copy Formatted just copies the text. It's not meant for scanning -- Mellel won't treat it as a citation object.
