Perhaps I would need to make another thread as my PDF annotation thoughts are completely unrelated to the discussion so far.

But let’s go;

1. The note stream panel shows highlighted text with a color line next to the right side and the added note on a full-color background. I think the intuitive interface would turn this around so the highlight would be on a full-color background while the note would be indented with a side line. Perhaps a yellow sideline as the notes are all yellow once closed.
2. I wish the note font size would be bigger or adjustable.
3. I wish we had a simple pen to scribble stuff on the PDFs in order to make it more messy :shock: (of course, this doesn’t need to appear in the note stream).

Those are just little wishes, nothing major :)

Cheers, Rene

I don't agree with #1 (Bookends used to use color for the entire list cell, and it was garish). As for #3, you can open the PDF directly into Preview or whatever PDF editing app you prefer, and scribble as much as you like (and if the PDF viewer uses PDFKit, see it in Bookends). Finally, good news :-) -- you can increase the Note Stream and Summary text size in Settings.
