Is it possible to automatically attach the PDF to the Bookends entry at the time of the import?
This is what I'm doing:
1) I search the article
2) I import
3) I click on the URL @ symbol to open the PDF
4) The PDF opens in Safari (in browser)
5) I click the Save icon
6) I go back to BE and go to Ref/Get PDF/Find & Attach
If you can get the pdf to open in Preview then you can drag the proxy icon (the one in the title-bar) onto the reference window in Bookends, or onto the list window if the correct reference is highlighted. You will then get the attach file dialogue.
How exactly do we "reconfigure" the JSTOR filter to work with downloaded pdf's? I have a bunch of files I downloaded before the Bookends upgrade which are waiting to be classified.

Sorry, I don't understand. The JSTOR filter doesn't deal with pdfs, just the text. You have to download the pdf the way that aechallu described in the original post.
I think from this thread I already know the answer, but just to make sure I'm not getting my hopes up — there will not be a "Get PDF from JSTOR" option (like the Pubmed one) right? Or is this something that is being worked on?
