Bookends scripts for use with Word 2016 are scheduled for the next update. If anyone wants to test them (installation and functionality), please contact me and I'll send you a beta build. I'm especially interested in users with non-English systems, to test the automatic installation code.

Using Word 2016 for Mac and Bookends 12.6 - I can run the plug-in scripts ''insert citations' and also run the 'go to bookends’ using applescript editor but the scan and unscan scripts give me "Bookends can't perform X because no windows are open!”
A temporary work-around would be greatly appreciated!

That error message, from Word, means that VBA isn't installed. Install it from the Office disk (if you have it).
