Does anyone have a full journal glossary for Index Medicus that can be used with bookends. Most of the journals I use are not in the concise Medline that is supplied with Bookends.
BTW, I am loving the Get PDF option under REF. I don't know when that sneaked into Bookends but it is fantastic. I am finally getting some organization to my 5000+ PDFs. I do wish when it was imported that you would have tohe option to change the name to the unique PMID.
Full Medical Journal List
Hi,
Be careful with the full medline catalog -- it certainly slows down scanning if you have 5000 or so journals for Bookends to slog through for each reference it formats. I suggest adding the ones you want to Concise Medline by hand.
The Get PDF feature was added yesterday. Thanks.
Hm I don't understand the last. When you "Get PDF" from PubMed, the name IS the PMID. We have a thread in the Bookends forum on this right now (others would prefer the name-date).
BTW, this thread really belongs in the Bookends forum, so please post there unless you want to ask others for formats.
