APA--citations with the same author(s) and the comma

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to figure out how to get BE to separate two or more citations with the same author(s) by a comma. I have the correct field checked in both APA 5th and APA Citations formats, but the citations wind up being separated by a semicolon. So it should be:

(Smith, 1987, 1990)

but I get

(Smith, 1987; 1990).

Has anyone noticed this too? Has anyone found a solution?

Thanks in advance.

Joe

I'm not sure I understand. You seem to have checked "use year-only for repeated authors". If so, there is a field in the format where you specify what punctuation is used to separate the years. If you still have problems with this, tech support, not this forum, is the appropriate place to deal with it.
