As much as I have already learned to love BE, two things keeps irritating me on a daily basis:
- the up and down arrows in the record view. Up is next record, down means previous record. This is counter intuitive, at least for me (and in comparison with any software I know). Shouldn't it be just the other way round?
- choosing a group has no effect on browsing through it's records in full record view. Of course I have the option to browse through the hits list with command-option-6,7,8,9,0, but there is no way to browse through the currently selected group, is there? Why?

I second xaxa's request: I would very much like to be able to browse through the refs in whatever group I have open in the main application window using the arrow keys (or arrow buttons) in the open ref window.

The arrows are quite intuitive to me. Up means to a higher number, down means to a lower number. There is no right answer here, but that's why it is the way it is.

As for browsing a group in the reference window, you can't because the reference window is not tied to the references showing in the List View.

Note that you can approximate this behavior fairly easily, though:

1. Select the group
2. Mark all references in the group (various ways to do this quickly)
3. Use the Hits up/down arrow control in the reference window to wander around the references in the group.

For pedantic reasons, I'll mention another possible approach if your screen is large enough:

1. Turn off "bring reference window to front on double-click"
2. Open the reference window and place it next to the List View.
3. Arrow up/down the references, and press Return when you want to see the contents of that reference.
