I can't actually find a folder called "Custom Formats", or the other 2 "Custom" folders. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks,

Rick
Move the following from the old to the new Bookends Folder:

2. Attachments folder (if present).
3. Copies of formats you have created or modified (to the new Custom Formats folder).
4. Import filters you have created or modified (to the new Custom Import Filters folder).
5. Journal glossaries you have created or modified (to the new Custom Journal Glossaries folder).

For me, the "Custom" folders weren't created until I had run Bookends 8 at least once. They weren't in the distribution.

Right. They are created only when you need them (i.e. when you make a new filter, format, or glossary).
