Can anyone out there advise me on how to do this? First I tried exporting as a tab-delimited file but when I dragged it into a Bookends window I got an error message saying something like "This is not a Bookends tab-delimited file." So I tried exporting as a Bibtex file. This time Bookends appeared to be responding but finally reported that it had imported 0 of 0 entries. Thanks in advance for your help.

Bookends won't accept tab-delimited export from any source but itself (it's for exporting, manipulating, importng. BibTeX is another matter. You can send me the BibTeX file and I'll take a look.
