a more complete Chicago 15th A?

Hello all,

I'm wondering if anyone has a more complete Chicago 15th A format to share before I go about reinventing the wheel. The format included with Bookends is good but limited; it does not, for example, include personal communication, electronic article, magazine article, or webpage reference types.

Thanks in advance.

I've been dabbling with the Chicago format for a while, and what I've got isn't perfect, but it seems to work for most things (I haven't, for example, had an "personal communications," so you might be on your own for that). Use at your own risk:

Raymond, I think you just drop the format file into:

~\Applications\Bookends\Formats

Or whatever your equivalent folder is.

I wouldn't do that. All formats in the folder will be replaced when you next update. If you want to keep user-modified formats, they should be in

~/Library/Application Support/Bookends/Custom Formats

Thanks Jon,

I have followed your instructions
And a question: when opening Bookends where I would see these Chicago formats which I have added.

They will be listed in the Formats Manager (their names will be in bold face, because they are in the Custom Formats folder). You'll have to check them ON to see them in any popup menus.

Does anyone have updated Chicago formats that include things like blogposts, websites, etc.?
