Hello,

When in database, and in Style menu, one can change the font size.

My question: How I can determine the font and especially its default size.
The default one now is 12 points.
I would like to change it.
In the preference pane there is no success.

Try Preferences> General. The third section down is 'Default font'.

You can set the default font for bibliographies, references and for list view. Choose one of these three in the dropdown menu labelled 'For:', then set size and font using the relevant dropdown menus.


I think you may be using Mellel. In that case, styles for the bibliography can be set in Mellel, in Preferences> Bibliography. These settings will override the setting in Bookends for the bibliography font, I think.

The default font size for references, lists, and bibliographies is set in Preferences (each one individually).

If you have edited a field to add style info, the font size is locked at whatever it was when you edited it. To restore it to the default, you can use Global Change -> Restore Default Font & Style.
