'Automatic" update via pubmed

Hi,
I was just looking through some of my references (~2000) and I realised that some of them have been generated from articles published on Pubmed as "Epub ahead of print". Now it would be nice if I could automatically update these references via pubmed, at a later date, so they would contain information like page-numbers, volume, issue, etc. Ultimately it would be super nice if this could be done on multiple references at a time...
Any chance that this can be done already? Or maybe be incorporated in a future version?
