Database Engine Error: last segment is...

Hi Jon,
recently I learned how to global change a field but every time I try to add keywords through the change fild menu I got an error ("Database search engine error: last segment 234 is wrong. Last segment is 233...") What's the problem?

A simple Database Maintenance -> Repair should fix this.

Yes, the point is that this occurs everytime I try to make a global change through the "change field"

Are you saying a Repair didn't fix it? If so, please zip and send me the database in question.

No, sorry Jon, I haven't been clear. I make a global change through "change field", I get the error, I make a "repair" and everything is ok BUT if I try (after an online search, for ex.) another global change I get another error and so on...

I just has the same problem (after a rare BE crash) but Repair did not fix it and even worse I can not rebuild my library, which appears to be corrupted somehow. Every time I now try to open it, I get this "Database search engine error: last segment xxx is wrong. Last segment is xxx..." message and the interface then is very funny (I will send it to Jon in separate mail).
