Differentiating between journal article and book

Post by pgseye »

Hi,

Probably a dumb question, but how does Bookends know to treat a reference as something other than a journal article (that's all I've had a need to use)? I've just imported a ref for a book, but can't seem to get Bookends to show publisher and publisher address. Do you need to specify what type of reference it is somewhere??

Thanks.

Hi,

There is a popup menu at the top right hand portion of the reference window -- select the Type from it (you can also select the type in the List View info pane if you have configured Bookends to show it there).

Thanks Jon,

It's obvious now that I see it!
