Multiple screens: Reference windows disappear

I have a problem with the Bookends windows, going from using two screens in extended modus to just one of them. An example: If I have Pages on my main 22" screen and have the Bookends DB window on the Macbook screen, then the BE window disappears if I close my Macbook for sleep and re-evokes it to use only the 22" screen. Using Exposé it comes in from the left (where my Macbook's placed) but choosing that window just makes it disappear when it moves back outside the 22" screen. I simply can't get hold of the DB window, as it seems trapped. It works the other way around, if I have the DB window on my main 22" screen, shuts down the Macbook, go home and restarts - the window is 'hanging' where I can't get hold of it...

Hope the above makes sense... :-)

Any one with a solution or suggestion?

Btw, I'm using the latest BE 10.x edt.

Hi,

There is code in Bookends to prevent this. I occasionally get reports of this, but can't reproduce it, even when they send me their database. Why don't you set it up so that the Bookends window is as far to the "right" on your large screen as you can make it (with the MacBook on the "left"), quit, zip, and send it to me. I'll see how it opens on my one-screen Mac.
