multiple cites from the same source

I'm a newbee and can't figure out how to make references from the same source, say a book. If I want to reference pages 2-7 in one instance and page 275 in another do I duplicate the book reference and put in new notes for the new set of pages? Or is there a way to reference different sets of pages in one bookend database reference?

You'll have to bear with me as I'm new to citations and the bookends program.

Thanks.

Hi,

There are a few different techniques, but the most flexible is "cited pages" (you can look it up under that term in the user guide). Basically, you'd cite like this

{temp citation info@2-7}

or

{temp citation info@275}

You may have to edit the format (second tab) to tell Bookends what to output before and after the cited pages.

Great! Thanks Jon.

Like I said, I'm new to bookends. I'll read the manual and I'm sure the method you mentioned will be clear. I just needed a push in the right direction.
