Try rebuilding your Term Lists (open a Term List and press Delete). If the problem persists, zip and send me your database and I'll take a look (support@sonnysoftware.com).

Jon, after following your instructions the problem persisted. But in restarting BE I received notice of the upgrade, which I downloaded. On repeating the procedure on BE 10.1.3, the problem had vanished. So, whether from repeated rebuilding of term lists, some tweak in the new version of BE, or both, I'm happy to say all is well again. Thanks.
