In desperate need of help here....

I try to scan a document within MS Word 2004 and get the following error:

Compile error in hidden module: NewMacros

Any suggestions!

Hm, that's a Word error message, not from Bookends. Try replacing the template and add-in (the Bookends ones) with fresh ones from the Bookends Folder and see if that helps. If not, maybe reinstalling Word will?

Thanks Jon for the rapid reply. I tried just what you suggested and then reinstalled Bookends again. Still doesn't work. I need to get the installation disks from our IT people tomorrow to reinstall Word.

Right, it's not a Bookends error message. It's from Word.
