Updating from 10.4 to 10.5

I have four databases which i backed up before i installed 10.5, each file is different sizes

3.7mb
15mb
15.9mb
2.76mb

However after installing latest version of bookends on 10.5, however i can open the files OK, but there are all empty, how can this be if each file has data in, almost 600 .pdfs are stored in these four files.

Am i doing something wrong?

Attachments are not stored in the database files but in the Attachments folder you can specify under Preferences > General. Hope this helps.

Do you mean the reference data is missing? Or the links to the pdfs?
