Google Scholar

I notice that the new Papers (1.7 as of writing) can search Google Scholar, and as such JSTOR and many others. Even nicer, it allows for (1) immediate download of the PDF, and (2) imports the basic bibliographic info that is associated.
Can we hope to have Bookends also search Google Scholar and do this quick and easy importing of papers as well as bibliographic info? Thanks.

It's on the feature request list. BTW, there is a direct export feature from Papers -> Bookends, which also transfers links to attachments. So if you use Papers to search you can painlessly transfer the results to Bookends.

I'd also encourage you to email a request to google scholar for an API which would make Jon's job easier.
