Duplicated citat in Word 2008

Post by lesnoj »

If I insert a citat in (Copy Citations) in a Word Document it looks like that:
[Bondeva T et al., 1998, #19750]
After I finished my work and clicked on Scan Document I became this:

Text......
(Bondeva et al. 1998, Bondeva et al. 1998, Bondeva et al. 1998)
Text.....
Bondeva T, Pirola L, Bulgarelli-Leva G, Rubio I, Wetzker R, Wymann MP. Bifurcation of lipid and protein kinase signals of PI3Kgamma to the protein kinases PKB and MAPK. Science. 1998;282:293-296.

And it suppose to be
(Bondeva T et al., 1998)
instead
(Bondeva et al. 1998, Bondeva et al. 1998, Bondeva et al. 1998)
What’s going on here?

I suspect you have set the comma as the citation separator character in preferences (which is useful for BibTeX, but nothing else). So Bookends is seeing

[Bondeva T et al., 1998, #19750]

as 3 citations

Bondeva T et al.
1988
#19750

Set it to semicolon.

If that's not the problem, please contact me directly for tech support (support@sonnysoftware.com).

You're right! It was comma!
Thanks of a lot!
It finally worked out! At least it looks like it works properly!
