Help! Database disappeared!

Help!

My thesis database has disappeared - I have no idea what it was saved as or where it was saved and hadn't checked the 'automatic backup' box

Now, when I open up Bookends, it only gives me the option to open up a database which is around a year old, practically useless.

I do however have a time machine backup of my whole computer from a couple of days ago, when the database was still working.

I am trying not to panic - any suggestions on how to find the file???

Hi,

I think I replied to an email from you already, but in any case, each database has a name. I'd search for that in the Finder. Even if you accidentally deleted it from your hard drive, it has to be there on your Time Machine backup. Please follow this up, if necessary, with me at support@sonnysoftware.com
